

San Francisco State students shine with "Defined"

Thursday evening at the students from the San Francisco State University Apparel Design and Merchandising program took over the Design Center to showcase their Spring 2012 creations.

models pose for student designer Qian Mo-Falgairette/Image:C.Hope for Style WyldeDivided into two main sections, the first of which were individual looks created around a theme such as "Exaggerated Proportions" and "Nature Inspired", and the second being full 5-look lines from individual student designers, the evening was a well produced event that rivaled many local industry productions for professionalism.

With so much young talent under one roof, it is difficult to chose a "favorite" collection, or even individual look of the evening, but as far as models go it was clear- the kids who walked during the multi-student capsule collection consisting of upcycled pieces from Goodwill industries stole the show!
