Smart silhouettes that teased with unusual lines and textures populated the bold and richly hued Negarin Fall 2012 collection. The pieces, all based in the practical realm without a single over the top gown or beaded cocktail dress were a refreshing change in a season stuffed with festive-wear and red carpet ready looks.

Considered to be in the 'affordable' category for Fashion Week standards with many pieces in the under $1000 price range, the looks were not at all frumpy or average and offered a wide range of unique details such as asymmetrical seams, leather trims and embossed textures normally found only in the upper-market collections.

The palette, which ran the gamut between bright blues, raspberries, and mustards with pops of more neutral navies blacks and whites gave the collection a something-for-everyone appeal that was both well thought out and well executed.
