As previously reported, Style Wylde will be sending an editor to cover Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Japan AW 2012 in just a few days. Preparation for this event which includes extensive research on the labels, the culture and traditional Japanese fashion has got our minds on the huge influence Japan, and Japanese fashion both traditional and the most cutting edge styles, have had on western designers throughout the years. Season after season we see designers in New York, London, Milan and Paris finding their muse in the art, culture and historical dress of Japan.
One such designer who has drawn on Japan for inspiration was New York Based Cally Rieman, who's Kal Rieman Fall 2012 collection put a modern spin on Samurai with tough female warrior silhouettes than struck a delightful balance between masculine and feminine, work wear and evening .
