Mac's collection had that same sense of fun, creativity and elaborate story telling as the SciFi cult classic, and it made for great fashion theater.

Exaggerated leather details that protruded off hips and shoulders took some of the looks to an otherworldly level while flattering shapes such as pencil skirts and swing dresses kept the bulk of the collection in the earthly and utterly wearable category.
A clear win for Mac, who has a background in costume design but is only in his second season at Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week, the collection spoke volumes as to the talent of its designer and his potential to be a darling of the avant garde fashion set.
