Fashion Feature: Karen Walker Spring 2012

From head wraps, to day dresses to smartly cut slacks the iconic styles of WWII pin-ups and swing kids got a modern twist with an explosion of color and print.

Draped dresses that kept with the retro theme were given a modern spin with higher hemlines that prevented the looks from being "too vintage", and helped create a super-flattering line.  (This hemline will be a welcome change for every woman who has struggled with the often unflattering 'midi' length skirt over the past few seasons!)
