I love it all...except for the super structured leather shift. It makes me uncomfortable looking at it. But I get where he's coming from. Well done!

I don't know that "every fashion publication on the planet" covers Derek Lam, it seems to me that Lam sometimes gets overlook while everyone is drooling over Marc Jacobs. But besides that point, I love this collection, that red trench is making me swoon, and has me already planning how I will save up to buy it when it comes out next season.

Well, I like some pieces. But I see a lot of it as stuff that is not really that new--perhaps crisper and sharper than other collections, but actually not wearable or flattering for real life. And, although I love the "art" aspect of the shows, fashion has to have some connection with real life. The most wearable pieces are the least creative--I'd like to see something wearable AND innovative.

I like all of it, and unlike some of the posters I actually buy a lot of Derek Lam. It's always well cut, and well made, and works perfectly in the real world. Some of this stuff you guys have been posting is totally ridiculous! Derek Lam is what real women actually wear
