With everything from pheasant-feather collars to condom-clad coats, the students showing their work during Saturday night's Art Institute San Francisco Spring Runway Show, displayed their remarkable creativity and innovation with highly conceptual, and well executed collections.

Those perspectives which varied from Safari-inspired sportswear, to urban menswear, to a mash-up of McQueen and Mugler really spoke volumes to the wealth of talent and individuality in the San Francisco Bay Area.
With so much diversity between the collections, the panel of industry judges, which included local designers Bacca da Silva, Joseph Domingo, and Angela Medlin had a difficult task in chosing which student collections to award the top prices of the evening, Best Construction, Best Creativity and Best overall design of the show.
