Weekend Live Music Round-up
stock photoFor those of us not blowing our money on sand sandwiches this weekend, here are 10 reasons to get to enjoy the city music scene.
Get down to 330 Ritch tonight for Popscene to catch local boys The Limousines alongside L.A's DJ Paparazzi.
On Friday the Popscene boys meet up with Loaded for their monthly event at the Rickshaw Stop. This month, all the way from Brazil, they have The Twelves and the SF's own Tenderlions. At the Bottom of the Hill you will find Triple Cobra, Nylon Heart Attack, and The Chop.
To start Saturday legendary SF rockers The Tubes are at the Great American Music Hall. Across the Bay at the Uptown in Oakland you can catch SW favorites The Ferocious Few alongside Jucifer and Sassy. Also on Saturday at 1015 Folsom you can catch dancefloor superstars Filo & Peri.
On Sunday, we start off with vintage scooters and classic mod soul as the resident dj's of IN 'n out bring their party to The Boom Boom Room. At the Rickshaw Stop it's an all California affair as you can catch San Diego's newest rock sensation WAVVES alongside SXSW and Sacramento standouts Ganglians and L.A's Best Coast. Across the Bay you can while away a lazy Sunday evening in the company of John Legend and India Arie at the Greek in Berkeley.
And to wrap up the weekend, on Monday, Death Guild is at the DNA Lounge to serve up its weekly dose of Goth and Industrial for those that like the darker side of things.
