Friday:

We kick off our round-up with some electronica as HardFest swing through Oakland at The Fox with Simian Mobile Disco in tow for a live set with support from Fake Blood, Destructo, Mumbai Science, Eqyptrixx, and Blondes. Doors are at 6 and the show starts at 6.30.

Saturday:

Help fight the good fight and support the save KUSF fund by getting down to The Uptown in Oakland for sets by The Trophy Fire, Fake Your Own Death, Tigercat!, The Wrong Words, and Hate Factory. The cover is $10 and all proceeds go to KUSF.

Sunday:

It's going to be worth dragging yourself out from under the duvet and down to Rickshaw Stop for a visit from the long-time proponents of mellow synth-pop Tahiti 80. Support comes from It's Free for Grace and Sunbeam Rd -  the show is all ages, doors are at 8pm and tickets are $10 advance/$12 door.

Monday:

You can kick off the work week at Cafe Du Nord with maybe the best (although fans would argue there can be no such thing) The Smiths tribute band The Smiths Indeed  plus Sisters of Mercy tribute band The Reptile House.

Tuesday:

For the past 18 years Death Guild has been steadily throwing its regular club nights on a Monday to a loyal army of fans, and in the process, has become on of the longest continuous club nights in the Country. To celebrate such a feat, DNA Lounge is throwing open its doors for 3 nights of celebrations which culminate on Tuesday with Imperative Reaction, Ayria, and Panic Lift performing live. Details for all 3 nights can be found here.

Wednesday:

Give hump day a boost with some raw pop/post punk from Vows, some folk rock courtesy of The Gipsy Moolight Band and some indie rock with Stirling Says, all ably presented by Bottom of the Hill.

Thursday:

Celebrate St. Patrick's day with an energetic smash up of bhangra, celtic, reggae, electronica, and dub as Vancouver based Delhi to Dublin head to Mezzanine. Additional accompaniment comes from DJ Dragonfly, Pleasuremaker, and DGIIN.
