Big names and big changes for Pride Weekend

The once a year mega-celebration of love, equality, and all the things that make San Francisco an amazing city to live in, SF PRIDE WEEKEND, returns with some major changes and major bold face names headlining the events and parties city wide.   From actress/comedian Sandra Bernhardt who will be headlining the main stage on Sunday to Academy Award winner Olympica Dukakis who will be hosting a one-night only special Pride Weekend production of Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City, SF Pride 2011 will be the biggest, and most star-studded in San Francisco History.  

Other celebrities signed to make appearances this weekend include, actor  Jeremy Ray Valdez, Top Chef Just Desserts winner Yigit Pura.

The celebration culminates with a larger than ever parade on Sunday grand marshall'd by celebrity author Chaz Bono that will also be shown live and unedited on local station KRON 4.
