Life change haiku
stock photoDear Haikusue:
After years of frustration I recently realized that the career path I was on, wasn't the right one for me. I took a huge leap of faith and dove headfirst into a new arena, and so far it's going great, but my oldest and dearest friend isn't impressed. She has made it clear that she does not approve or support my new career and thinks that I should be "smart" by staying in a miserable job for a few more years and work harder at it, until the economy settles down. How do I get her to understand that NOW is the time for me to do this, and that a real friend would support and encourage my happiness?
Signed,
Friendless in Fairfield
