Relationship haiku

Dear Haikusue:

My boyfriend and I have been living together for 2 years and I am ready to get married, NOW. Unfortunately he thinks since we are both still in our  twenties (barely) we should wait, and he doesn’t want to discuss the subject any further. I don’t really understand his resistance, we already live together and are committed why is getting married such a big deal, can’t we just make it official?
