Spring Break Haiku

Since graduating from College five years ago, my best girlfriends and I have always taken a trip together during the Spring/Summer season.  It's become like our grown-up Spring break, when we get together, forget about all our worries and party like we used to.  Over the years we've gone on some great trips to Mexico, The Virgin Islands, even Costa Rica! I have been looking forward to this year's trip for months!  Well, the other day one of my friends called and said that "she had been chosen to break the news to me, that all the girls don't want to do our Spring Break this year."  Apparently everyone else is so caught up with boyfriends, and jobs that are so important they can't even take 5 days vacation, so our trip is off.  I am really hurt that the other girls are so ready to throw our annual tradition away, AND that they all ganged up on me to break the news. I feel betrayed. How do I make them see that we have our whole lives to be corporate slaves and good spouses, we should take the girls vacations while we can?
