Fashion feature: DressedUndressed Fall 2014
image:C.Hope for Style WyldeIn the US, and throughout a lot of the Western world there seems to be an idea that Japanese fashion is primarily "Harajuku Kawaii", the super sweet street style made popular by the famed Tokyo neighborhood and its denizens. And while we love the look (Give us Lolita or give us death) we also love all the other facets of Japanese fashion, including the clean, minimalist point of view represented by DressedUndressed.
For the Fall 2014 collection, the design duo behind the brand, Takeshi Kitazawa and Emiko Sato showed an array of soft grays, blacks and whites with pops of crimson and blue in looks that were both simplified and sophisticated.
