image:C.Hope for Style WyldeIf you are one of Nanette Lepore's 30,092 twitter followers, than you knew the Fall 2013 collection was going to be of other worldly design. Using the hashtag "NanetteonMars" the designer gave fans a sneak peek of the collection via photos of work-in-progress pieces.

But all that social media teasing didn't divulge the real essence of the collection:a myriad of Mars Rover inspired looks that oozed intergalactic glam.

A dark palette of blacks, deep purples, olive greens and a surprising pop of crimson red mixed it up with iridescent accessories that gleamed and glowed as models walked down the catwalk. This mash-up of color and texture gave the collection a mysterious feel with just a hint of retro-futurism. (Think Star Trek meets modern chic.)
