Fashion feature: Catherine Malandrino Fall 2013

image:C.Hope For Style WyldeInspired by the elegant lines of French art deco interior and furniture designer Emile-Jacques Ruhlmann, the Catherine Malandrino Fall 2013 collection titled "Le Normandie", was overflowing with breathtakingly beautiful pieces, that were both unbelievably delicate and supremely well crafted. From a sporty black leather bomber paired with an embroidered black wool skirt, to the ultra-glamorous  long burgundy silk crepe gown there wasn't a single piece in the collection that didn't garner a chorus of "ohhs and ahhs" from the many editors and fans walking through the collection.

And who could blame the crowd for ohhing and ahhing? Getting the opportunity to view the work of a truly world-class designer in such an intimate setting as the Center 548 in Chelsea where the collection was shown, was a true honor.
