Fashion feature: Elie Saab Fall 2012

Nipped-in waists, architectural details and razor sharp lines gave a modern edge to a deeply glamorous collection at the Elie Saab Fall 2012 Runway show, which debuted in Paris yesterday. Hyper-structured daywear pieces in tweeds and chiffons showed off the designer's ability to create gorgeously restrained pieces while, drop-dead gorgeous gowns created from georgettes with loads of glittering paiettes and beads celebrated his legendary red-carpet ready work.

The show itself, which was opened by Super model Karlie Kloss in a knock-out peplumed-jacket and pencil skirt suit,  created instant web buzz for the Saab with a number of publications (And Karlie fansites that had previously been lamenting her absence from the New York, London, and Milan runways)  posting rave reviews just minutes after the last girl walked.
