Fashion feature: In-Process Fall 2012
Staged in a bare-bones space in the basement of Shibuya's Belle Salle gallery, the In-Process by Hall Ohara Fall 2012 collection was as much a moving art installation as it was a runway show.
Graphic prints on tights and flowing tops gave a fun, young steam punk meets anime vibe to the series of separates and dresses that made up the first section of the collection.
From there In-Process evolved into a series of over-the-top voluminous coats, and trenches, all of which were formed into unusual shapes with detachable pieces.
The sheer creativity, innovation, and obvious masterful construction of the collection made In-Process not only one of the most interesting collections we've seen in Tokyo thus far, but also made it a favorite of the Fall 2012 collections shown throughout the world.
