Drawing on the energy and the imagery that is "the city of lights" Italian born designer Katya Leonovich created a bold Fall 2012 collection.

More of an impressionistic take on Paris, than a literal interpretation, the collection featured tough edgy constructions in leather and python that seemed to slam up against subtle Marie Antoinette-esque touches such boned corsets and military jackets to a riotous effect.

Now in her second season at Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week, Leonovich also showcased her quickly evolving design point of view via a series of splashy, deconstructed prints that recalled the football themed collection she created for Spring 2012.
