In her second season at Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week, designer Jackie Fraser-Swan, of the label  Emerson, avoided all of the pitfalls of sophomore outings by showing a Fall 2012 collection that was sleek and well edited with tons of wearable pieces. Expertly constructed to flatter with the perfect amount of urban edginess, the pieces showcased Fraser-Swan's talent and her bright future in the industry.

image:S.Whittle for Style WyldeThe collection was filled with fantastic separates and dresses but,  a few of our favorites included: a surprisingly flattering jumpsuit that hugged curves without being skin tight, a sleek day dress in deep plum that could easily transition to cocktail, and a peek-a-boo evening look that screamed rock n' roll.
