Inspired by the mythological creatures known as TENGU, (half man half bird creatures that were often worshipped as gods) 4 Corners of a Circle designer Natsuko Kanno created a sumptuous collection of softly billowing pieces that recalled traditional silhouettes such as kimonos with touches of traditional details such as Japanese 'feather prints'.

Beautifully restrained, and deftly avoiding the perils of becoming too costumey, Kanno took these traditional ideas while remaining true to her modern esthetic by keeping the looks clean and uncluttered.

The palette of the collection black, white, and red with pops of cream and copper had a fresh sophistication that gave the looks a stand-out-in-the crowd appeal that would work for women of any age.
