Tess Giberson's Fall 2012 collection was a phenomenal example of exquisite construction, and a thoroughly modern take on luxury. The pieces, created from layer after layer of light as air fabrics and detailing such as loose knitting, and scraps of netting beautifully balanced a sophisticated design point of view, and an artful deconstructed sensibility.

The silhouettes tended towards long and lean, and even the bright blue puffer coat which appeared midway through the show had a surprising sleekness that took the practical piece to a level of extreme chic.

Giberson told The Fashion Informer prior to the show "I was looking at images of Christo's wrapped objects from the late Sixties and thought about the lines, layers and sense of protection. Then I played off that idea and worked with it throughout the collection."
