Fashion Feature Anna Sui Fall 2012
Anna Sui's Fall 2012 collection had all the hallmarks of the designer's legendary boho-meets rock and roll point of view, but this time around she also added a rich tapestry of a story; a retrospective of 1960's art, architecture and interior design.
Sighting influences such as Charles and Ray Eames, Alexander Girard, John Alcorn and even Liz Taylor the designer created a wonderland of vibrant prints and luxurious textures in a palette of psychedelic inspired hues. While at the same time, Sui never lost her spirit of fun and playfulness, and included a return of the animal cap ( Owls this time around) as a must have accessory for Fall 2012.
A testament to the fact that not only is Sui at the top of her game creatively she is also moving to the top in the business of fashion arena, also unveiled on the runway were a collection of to-die-for handbags which the designer collaborated with mega-brand Coach to produce.
