L.A.M.B. Fall 2011: Modern Girls

Deftly executing what must of been an epic undertaking, Gwen Stefani created 6 mini capsule collections, each with its own soundtrack and video background, for her L.A.M.B. Fall 2011 runway show which was presented in the Theater at Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week on Thursday night.
Almost as if they were members of social cliques, each capsule group entered the stage together and "hung-out" while members walked the runway individually, giving the entire show a dynamic energy that felt almost spontaneous in spirit.

The capsules themselves played tribute to many of the musical genres and street styles that have influenced Stefani over the years and were titled to reflect each inspiration: "Soldier Girls", "Ragga Muffin Girls", "London Girls", "Buffalo Girls", "Mod Girls", and "Glamour Girls."
