Starting with a classic Hollywood western soundtrack, adding mirrored studio 54 poles, and finishing the whole thing off with gaucho jumpsuits and floor length sequin wrap gowns may sound like something of a recipe for a hot mess, but American icon Diane Von Furstenberg has a way of blending the unthinkable influences together and creating a style story that leaves lesser designers in her wake.

There seemed to be something for everyone at her Fall 2011 collection which ran the gamut form relaxed easy dresses and pants for day, and glittering gowns for evening.
Always one of the major events of Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week, it was no surprise that the Diane Von Furstenberg collection attracted countless celebrities and industry heavy-weights including Molly Sims, and most notably Vogue Editrix, Anna Wintour who was unusually animated, smiling throughout the show and then leapt to her feet to hurry out before the house lights had come all the way back up.
For more exclusive images from the Diane Von Furstenberg Fall 2011 collection check back with Style Wylde later in the week.
