Tonight:

 In SF Bottom of the Hill gets it's groove on with the CD release party for The Moonlight Orchestra, featuring guests, Montana 1948 and Blue Rabbit. While over at Slim's straight out of Concord, thrash-metal icons Death Angel take the stage with Skinlab and Walken for what is sure to be a seriously ass kicking show.

In the East Bay: indie rockers Man/Miracle, Grand Lake and Sparrows Gate and Pancho San are taking Oakland's The Uptown by storm, while over at Jupiter in Berkeley Jazz hots the Ezra Gale trio gets there beat on.

In SF Get ready to Skank with Hepcat, Ron Silva and the Monarchs at Slims.  While over at the Hemlock Tavern Swann Danger, Guitar vs. Gravity and 2:Frail are rocking out.

In The East Bay: Pomegranate, Patrick Winningham Band, and J Russo get their atmospheric indie rock on at the Starry Plough in Berkeley.
