Backstage beauty: Louis Vuitton Spring 2012
A modern French- twist with an easy relaxed vibe was the look at the Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 collection in Paris. Redken creative consultant Guido Palau explained the inspiration backstage as :"At the Louis Vuitton show, we’re creating an easy updo, a French twist with bits sticking out so it’s a little bit punky. We took inspiration from the Marc Jacobs show in New York and evolved the look with a dryer texture for the Louis Vuitton woman. Some of the models are wearing tiaras and this is overall a very pretty look.”
Here's how they got the look:
Beginning with clean, still damp hair stylists applied Redken All Over Bodifying Mousse and blew dry. Wool Shake 08 Gel-slush Texturizer was then added to give the hair 'grab' and a matte finish, before pulling hair back into a French twist, leaving loose pieces in the back. To finish the look, Fashion Work 12 Versatile Working Spray was added and the style was secured with a headband.
