Etsy Obsessed: Black Bird Tees

It seems last week Style Wylde fell into what can only be described as the Etsy black-hole of fashion, every time I logged onmy favorite arty, indie, creative, style portalmy eyes were assaulted with purveuors of 1980's era prom dresses ( I think I saw the actual dress I wore to the CVHS Junior Prom in 1991!) or overly ornate jewelry pushers. Needless to say that left me etsy DEpressed...not at all obsessed.

But today that has all changed, out with the black hole and in withBlack Bird Tees!

The first one hand-printed piece that caught my eye was the Squid Ink hoody (pictured above) on the "Talk Shirty to me" page. There is something so fun and funky about the off-center invertebrate, screen printed onto an American Apparel fleece that it seemed to scream my name. As directed on the site, I am ordering one size smaller than usual for an ideal fit.

In addition to the silk screened goodies, Black Bird tees also has a great collection of embellished tees with saucy undertones in the Candy Wrapper Tees section, and hand printed clutches and totes under "A bird in the hand".
