Back in the bay: Leap week shopping events!

As our regular readers are probably aware, the entire SW team spent two weeks in Manhattan covering Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week. And while the Fashion writers are still furiously editing photos to bring you the best of the collections, the rest of us are ready to refocus on the goings on in our own beautiful hometown (which we missed terribly while we were away!)  This week we'll be checking out:

Wednesday 2/28- Friday 3/2

SF- Local gift and tee company GamaGo celebrates Leap Year with a 48 hour sale, on all tees ( just $18) through Friday 11am. Online and instore.

Thursday 3/1:

a piece from the Sasha Maks collectionSasha Maks Vintage Launch Party and Trunk Show at Conifer Boutique

Cow Hollow's Conifer Boutique is set to celebrate the re-launch of designer Sasha Maks e-boutique with an instore party and trunk show. Shop the eclectic collection featuring pieces by renowned costume jewelry designers, such as Kenneth Jay Lane, Trifari, Chanel, Christian Dior, Lanvin and a myriad of unsigned stylish jewels. Added fun: All guests have a chance to win a vintage necklace ($155 value) & a gel mani service from the Beauty Company, and  Goodie bags compliments of the Beauty Company to the first 30 guests! 7-9PM 2824 Webster St. San Francisco, RSVP requested to info@sashamaksvintage.com.

Also on Thursday 3/1:

Calling all Mad-Men-a-holics, series costumer turned fashion designer Janie Bryant has created another show-inspired capsule for Banana Republic and the looks will hit the racks all over town on Thursday. Get your Bettie, Joan, or Don on before the series re-premieres later this month. (side note: does anyone actually remember where we left the Sterling Cooper gang? I sure don't! Two years is a long time TV writers we are going to need major-recaps!)

Next Thursday 3/8

"It" shoe designer among models, actresses, and socialites Brian Atwood has been a go-to-guy for stunning stilettos for years. Next Thursday get a sneak peek of his new collection B Brian Atwood, at Saks 5th Avenue in Union Square. View the Spring 2012 B Brian Atwood Shoe Collection, meet with Anh Sundstrom of www.9to5Chic.com and enjoy light refreshments and bites. RSVP to 415.438.5411 requested.

... and for Southern California Wyldings:

Friday March 9- Sunday March 11

If you're within driving distance, head to Costa Mesa for the mega RVCA Warehouse sale. This is a no-joke, not messing around event with organizers listing a bevy of rules including No strollers  or large bags in the store, no checks accepted and all sales final. But the markdowns will be massive and the lines long, so we recommend checking out their speed pass option to get you to the front of the line. More info here
