Art, fashion, and interior design with a serious local artisan vibe is on the agenda this weekend as Bazaar Bizarre Holiday Fair returns to San Francisco for a 2-day long event.
Some of the local vendors we are looking forward to seeing this weekend include:
With a keen eye for the vintage esthetic and devotion to precious "medals" Blue Ribbon Salvage designer and artist Melissa Abercrombie creates one of a kind necklaces that are true statement-makers. For more on Melissa and Blue Ribbon Salvage check out the exclusive Style Wylde interview here.
There are screen print tees, and then there are completely badass screen print tees with style and substance, 5733 is definitely the latter. Based in Oakland and committed to a sweatshop and solvent-free existence, designer Loretta Nguyen has made a name for herself ( and been written up in nearly every local outlet) with her provocative, and sometimes political pieces. For more on Loretta and 5733's fashion + politics check out this Style Wylde interview done last year during the Occupy Oakland events.
San Francisco's bicycle culture never looked cuter, than the one of a kind cufflinks, tie clips and rings created by The Weekend Store. Other precious finds include Antique typewriter bracelets and vintage map pieces!

Granted, "original combat garden gnomes" may not be on the top of everyone's wish list, but the concept alone has our curiosity peaked! Billed as "the finest militarized lawn ornaments in the world", these gnomes are guarenteed to pack a punch; now if only we had a picture....
Sweet handmade soaps, candles, perfumes and mineral make-up, make Blushie a must-stop by booth At Bazaar Bizarre.
Bazaar Bizarre runs this Saturday and Sunday (December 1-2) at the Concourse Exhibition Center East Hall. For more information including a complete line-up of vendors visit the official event site.
