There's more techno to be had at Temple with larger than life techno pioneer and legend Green Velvet. Over at Triple Crown there's the unlikely coupling of drum n bass mogul Goldie along with Pezzner. East Bay: In Oakland at Jack London Square is the East Bay Express Best of the East Bay Party which will feature multiple stages and artists from around the East Bay. Post event after parties are happening at The New Parish and The Uptown. The New Parish have two shows with a 7.30pm show featuring Spindrift and Chief Nowhere and a 10pm show featuring The People. At The Uptown will be The Frail, Stripmall Architecture, Ted Nesseth of Heavenly States, and Ryan Karazija of Audrye Sessions. If electronica is more your thing there are still tickets available for the Hard Summer Tour at the Fox Theatre which features Crystal Castles, Sinden, Rusko, and Proxy. Over at The Independent are Orgone who'll be supported by Fitz And The Tantrums.

Saturday

SF: If Friday nights visiting DJ's aren't enough then Ruby Skye is the place to be as they entertain Felix Da Housecat. At Slim's are SW favourites We Are Scientists supported by Rewards. At Bottom of the Hill are Man In Space, Young The Giant, Finish Ticket, and Fever Charm. Rickshaw Stop has a CD release party for local band Social Studies with Maus Haus, 60 Watt Kid, and Montra. Paradise Lounge sees the return of monthly 90's Britpop party Leisure. Out in the Richmond at Rockit Room are No Captains, Floozy, and Wave Array.
