Treasure Island Music festival; Interpol highlight week of live events
This weekend one of the biggest local music events of the year returns, as The Treasure Island Music Festival comes back to the Bay Area. This year's line-up includes:

SUN: BELLE& SEBASTIAN, THE NATIONAL, BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE, SHE&HIM, SUPERCHUNK, ROGUE WAVE, SURFER BLOOD,RA RA RIOT, MONOTONIX, THE SEA AND CAKE, PHOSPHORESCENT, PAPERCUTS, AND THE MUMLERS.
Early-bird discount tickets are completely sold out, advanced, one day, and two day tickets packs can still be had online at the official event website.

Wednesday: Portland rockers Floater play Bottom of the Hill, with home town boys The Trophy Fire and Apopka Darkroom. $10, Doors at 8:30.
Friday: Art pop takes over the Hemlock Tavern with Indian Jewelry, Cipd Beaks, and Late Young. Doors at 9:30 $10
Saturday: Ruby Skye is the place to be as euro mega-star dj Sander Kleinberg headlines with special guests Manufactured Superstars. Doors at 9pm, Tickets are $20 and available here.

Monday: Arguably one of the best acts to enter the music scene in years , post-punk-pop rockers Interpol come to the Fox Theater in Oakland, in support of self titled fourth album. Always provocative, and always an amazing show, this event is one we wouldn't even consider missing.
