Weekend Music Round-up

Tonight in San Francisco we start off with the Food Drive for the Homeless at Bottom of the Hill featuring Classics of Love, Toys That Kill, Ready The Jet, and For.The.Win. At the DNA Lounge you can enjoy the battle between Meat vs. Death Guild and at Mighty, Blasthaus presents LA's Nosaj Thing. Across the Bay, The Mumlers, Colossal Yes, and Painted Cakes are at the Uptown in Oakland.

On Saturday night, New York's Stellastarr are at Slims supported by Wild Light and Mason Proper. Two regular monthly events return as New Wave City returns to the DNA Lounge and Popscene present Leisure at the Paradise Lounge. At the Uptown in Oakland they have a Habitat for Humanity benefit.

And to wrap up the weekend, on Sunday, Sonic Youth are at the Fox Theater in Oakland and at Mezzanine you can enjoy the AmoebaPalooza featuring 18 bands and Amoeba employees playing 15 minute DJ sets.
