Weekend Music Round-up

The weekend is upon again so here's a musically eclectic weekend roundup for the Bay Area.

On Friday we start at the Hotel Utah with Pebble Theory, Cervantes, and Castles In Spain. At Mezzanine it's time to wish Om records a happy 15th birthday as they celebrate with Mark Farina and special guests Metro Area. At 103 Harriet, Bay Area Drum & Bass present a LoveEvolution fundraiser with too many DJ's and Emcee's to mention. Across the water in sunny Oakland, SonicLiving.com presents The Hundred Days, The Hot Toddies, Oona, and others at the Uptown.

Saturday in the City starts with The Octopus Project, Birds & Batteries, and The Don'ts at Bottom of the Hill. At the Hemlock Tavern you can find Leopold & His Fiction, Candy Apple, and The Spyrals. For deep house fans you'll find San Francisco's own Fred Everything playing alongside Olivier Desmet at Vessel. And at Mezzanine there's another birthday to celebrate, this time it's 17 years for New Wave City.

And it doesn't end with Saturday night. Sunday you can find Method Man, Redman, and Ghostface Killah at Mezzanine. Third Eye Blind are at The Fox Theater in Oakland on Monday and the Crocodiles are at the Rickshaw Stop on Wednesday.
