Weekend-round up : SF Pop Fest returns!
This weekend SF Pop Fest returns with a bevy of bands playing over the long holiday weekend. Now in its fourth year, the event which is based in local venues The Hemlock Tavern and The Knock Out features some of the most promising pop acts from around Northern California and the world .The official line-up of acts for SF POP FEST 2012 is as follows
Friday May 25th at the Hemlock Tavern 8:30PM

Saturday May 26th at the Knockout beginning at 4:30PM
Kids on a Crime Spree, Surf Club, Manatee, Dead Angle, Cruel Summer, plus DJS from Shine on. $8 tickets available at the door only.
Sunday May 26th 8:30 PM at the Hemlock Tavern
TV Girl, Allen Clapp and his Orchestra, The Bilinda Butchers, Outer Hope. $10 Tickets available online at Brown Paper Tickets.
Although not a part of the official line-up, but definitely along the same lines (and sure to get you in the mood for the PopFest shows) we also recommend checking out Swedish indie rockers I Brake Horses, with Silver Swans at Popscene Thursday night. Show at 9:30 $13 advance tickets available at Snag Tickets.
Or if all that bubble gum-loli-pop music has given you a toothache, you can cleanse your palette with a slightly less sugary sound of The Rock Hop SF at Bottom of the Hill Saturday night featuring: Finish Ticket, Please Do Not Fight, Picture Atlantic, and Coast Jumper.
