Thursday

SF: We kick things off with a bumper evening for techno fans. Steve Lawler will be at Vessel while fellow UK uber-DJ John Digweed will be at Ruby Skye courtesy of Spundae. Presale tickets for Vessel are still available through eventbrite and Ruby Skye tickets are available through TicketWeb. The British invasion continues at Popscene as they welcome Delphic who'll be supported by The Hundred in the Hands. At Rickshaw Stop you'll find Harry & The Hitmen, The Hypnotist Collectors, and SW favorite The Jugtown Pirates. For some a healthy dose of country and bluegrass then get down to Bottom of the Hill as they open their doors to Old Man Markley, The Whiskey Richards, and The West Nile Ramblers.

East Bay: In Oakland at The New Parish you will find Honeymoon plus Big Eagle. In Berkeley 924 Gilman opens its doors for a rare Thursday event with The Chop Tops, The Memphis Murder Men, Motel Drive, and Bad Men.

Friday

SF: At Thee Parkside as part of Budget Rock 9 will be Jack O and the Tearjerkers, Roy Loney, East Bay Grease, The Wrong Words, and The Scrams. The Red Devil Lounge has Black Quarterback, Loop!station, and Materialized. If dub is more your thing then the Rockit Room is the place to go with Roots Radics and Scientist. At Slims in SOMA are Born Ruffians and Meligrove Band. 222 Hyde gives some local love with Bang The Box featuring residents Solar, Lance Desardi, and Christian Mora.

East Bay: In Oakland at The Uptown are Orbiter 500, Black Balloon, and Electric Chair Repair Company. In Berkeley at Shattuck Down Low are Native Elements and Ras Kidus. At The Starry Plough Pub will be Nine Pound Shadow, Brad Brooks, Peter Rudy and the Apostles of Dirt, and David Stuart.

Saturday

SF: The big name DJ's continue their weekend assault on SF this time with Derrick Carter who's appearing at Ruby Skye. Bottom of the Hill partakes in Budget Rock 9 with Oblivions, Icky Boyfriends, Wounded Lion, and Wild Thing. At The Independent are Electric Six who'll be supported by The Constellations and Ghost Robot and at The Hotel Utah there's a cd release party for Split Shot with support from Sweedish and The Jugtown Pirates. If experimental rock is more your thing then Hemlock Tavern is calling with Women, French Miami, and Manchild.

East Bay: Halloween  comes a week early at Stork Club with Entertainment, Alaric, and Scission. Over at The Uptown are Flash Gilmore and the FunBeatles, Perls, Machete Fight, plus Live 105's DJ Miles. In Berkeley at Blakes are Graham Patzner & The Help, Nine Wives, and Japhy Riddle and at 924 Gilman are Warscythe, Laceration, Man Among Wolves, and Illuminegra
