As in year's past, the sidewalks at J-POP rivaled the most avant-garde runways in New York, Tokyo, or anywhere in the world with a plethora of colorful Gothic Lolita fashion fans and cosplay characters. However, this year a growing knowledge of the more mainstream Japanese trends, including the Shibuya style epitomized by festival participant Liz Lisa, was also seen.

Fashion was definitely not just a female sport this year either, as the local boys held their own with an array of dapper looks that varied from Edwardian, to 80's and everything in between.
