When its time to say goodbye: introducing the Web Suicide Machine
You know when it's time to let go. You're tweeting non-stop ( even at family events and holidays) you are constantly poking (even when you told yourself you would log in just to check the live update feed), and you've lost the ability to go anywhere without announcing it on foursquare. You are in daily cyber contact with everyone you've ever met in your entire life (including high school bullies and former bosses) but haven't left your apartment for days.
If this sounds familiar, it's time to kill yourself.
Ok, not literally, your-real life living and breathing self, but your online identities, all twitter/myspace/facebook/foursquare/linked in yous need to go, and the crafty minds that created The Web 2.0 Suicide Machine are just the people to help you get it done.

While it's not recommended that anyone give up reading informative locally-focused fashion, music and lifestyle online magazines, logging out of social networks (even temporarily to see if you are truly ready to take the final WSM step) sounds like a pretty good idea to us. Afterall, these sites were created to improve our lives, not take them over entirely.
