Saturday and Sunday Japantown was bustling with cosplay characters and sweet lolitas as the third annual JPOP Summit Festival kicked off in celebration of music, fashion and all things street style.

Naoto line, (which will be available in the designer's US Flag Ship Store opening this October), a Baby The Stars Shine Bright lolita fashion competition, a Sou Sou Fashion Show and panel discussion, and an h. Naoto Street Styling competition.

In addition to the organized  fashion events, nearly every street surrounding the Kintetsu Mall served as an impromptu runway as followers of Japanese street fashion from as far away as the island of Hawaii  descended on San Francisco to show off their own unique take on the trends.

These photos and outfits are amazing! I can't believe I never see anyone dressed like this in NYC.
