Packing it in haiku

Dear Haikusue:

Five years ago I moved away from my hometown (San Francisco) and decided to start my career/life in Los Angeles. Since then I have had some a lot ups and downs with layoffs, job changes and some serious crap in my personal life. I am thinking of chucking it all in and moving back to SF, but don't want to feel like I am 'giving up and going home'. How do I decide if it's time to go home, or if I need to stick it out and get my life together in LA?
