Real estate haiku
istock photoDear Haikusue:
My fiance and I have decided to buy a condo or small single family home before we plan our wedding, so that we can be sure we don't 'blow it all' on a party and have no equity left to start our life together. I am totally on board with this idea, but finding a place that we can both agree on is starting to seem impossible. From finishes, to neighborhood to condition to price we can't find anything that we both like, and end up fighting at almost every open house we go to. How do I know if this is just the normal stress of being a first time buyer, or a bad sign for our future happiness together?
Signed,
Cold feet in the Castro
