Wanderlust haiku
Venice, Italy/Photo by C. AndersonDear Haikusue:
As a single woman who just turned forty I have dealt with years of pressure from my family to settle down, get married, have kids etc. Up until now I have brushed their warnings off and just enjoyed the life I made for myself, one filled with world travel ( I've been to 25 countries!) dinners out with friends, and a great wardrobe. But now, as two of my friends have gotten engaged and another just had a baby I am starting to wonder if my family is right and if my love of travel, adventure, and desire to do things my own way is going to leave me alone and unhappy when I am old?
