Day 1 Highlights
AP Photo : Richard DrewFashion week is off and running with style chills ( and a runway spill at Marta Hoffman) here are our highlights.
Davidelfin: Cool blues, greens and aqua-hues were accented with black and white throughout this Spanish style maker’s show. Some of the styles boarded on silly, and some were less than flattering but we still believe this up and comer is going to make it big on the American stage soon.

BCBG Max Azria- Lovely draped jersey dresses with a few little Hervé Léger-lite looks thrown in for good measure, the BCBG show may not have been the most original collection of the day, but several pretty pieces left us looking forward to the retail versions debuting next year. Interesting twist: Moments after the show ended the BCBG twitter team announced that the dresses were already available on the label’s recently redone website. Nice touch. Vena Cava Another surprisingly dark spring palette was the foundation for a fun, funky retro graphic collection featuring a few of the day’s best looks, including the hyper-wearable red black and white sundress that celebrities are bound to be seen in come next year.
