Fashion feature: Tess Giberson Spring 2013
Crisp, clean whites with surprising touches such as glittering sequins, origami draping, and the occasional Nordic wolf silk screen print made the Tess Giberson Spring 2013 collection a true spring stunner.
In this season a lot of designers focus on the tropics for inspiration, giving their collections a beachy vibe. All of the intriguing details at Tess Giberson, however, including the frost-kissed make-up and wind-swept hair, suggested the icy arctic, where spring and the relief it brings from brutal winter is most precious.
The originality of this idea was so refreshing, and the execution of it so artfully done, you could almost feel the bracing wind blowing off the iceberg-like sculptures that dotted the runway.
