Runway trend report: Business Casual
Mixed marine and floral prints from Karen Walker Fall 2012/Image: C.Hope for Style WyldeOhh December, with its constant get togethers and semi-mandatory workplace 'parties', this month often seems like one sequin-worthy occasion after another. And while we love a good party frock (or tux) as much as anyone, we also know that for most of us, the bulk of our lives (well at least 40 hours per week!) are spent in somewhat somber offices.
But work appropriate doesn't have to mean drab. For Fall/Winter 2012 designers dug deep into their inspirations to come up with daywear that had as much style and personality as all those frilly dresses.
Here are a few of our favorite 'ready to work' looks from the runways.
