Fashion feature: Shiroma Spring 2013

"Grunge-Techno" was the description given for the Shiroma Spring 2013 collection, which showed at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo on Monday morning, but the actual collection was surprisingly light and pretty. Pale watercolor prints mixed with tough touches such as shiny vinyl shoes and faux-hawked hair balanced the sweetness of the pieces perfectly, for an all over edgy and ultra urban appeal.

Adding an extra element of interest were the key outerwear pieces, such as trim trench coats and well cut capes that filled out the collection to create a variety of options for all of Spring's temperamental elements.
