Fashion Feature: Mongrels in Common Spring 2012

Bold burnt oranges, abstract prints and pops of navy and black highlighted the Mongrels in Common Spring 2012 collection which took to the runways yesterday in Berlin.

A consistent favorite at Mercedes Benz Berlin Fashion Week since their debut during the Spring 2007 season, The Mongrel team designers Livia Ximenez-Carrillo and Christine Plues did not disappoint fans of the label with their well executed collection which stayed in line with their masculine meets feminine point of view for which they have become known.

Although probably not the most avant-garde of the all collections that will be seen this week (that honor will almost certainly go to Iris van Herpen) the Mongrels in Common collection truly captured the essence of modern German design with its vibrancy and perfectly executed construction.
