Sun sets on Swim 2012; goodbye Miami

Another Mercedes Benz Miami Swim Week is over, and with it's close the best brands in the industry get ready to roll out production plans and sales pitches. But which suits will actually make it into stores near you, and which swim trends will we all be wearing next summer?  Our favorite looks, and best bets from the runways include:

Clean, sporty lines with pop-art details at Red Carter

The simple indigo suit pictured left was down right modest compared to some of the sexier looks seen throughout the week, but its understated design mixed with pop-art inspired details made it one of the freshest looks in Miami.

For most of us, walking up the beach after a quick dip in the ocean is hardly a cinematic event, but the super glam-tankinis at Aguaclara made us feel like anyone can access their inner Ursula Andress.

Global glam at Mara Hoffman

After seeing Mara Hoffman's  boho-global-glamazon inspired Fall 2011collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in February, which was one of the hottest tickets of the week, it came as no surprise that the designer's swim line was one of the most-talked about in Miami. Hoffman has repeatedly proved that her keen eye for pattern and discerning design aesthetic is one legions of women crave.  Our favorite look of the collection, the high-waisted binkini shown left, somehow felt both fresh and retro without looking overly trendy.

It wouldn't be a true  fashion week if Bravo mastermind and head-honcho Andy Cohen didn't get at least one of his Real Housewives up on the runway. Seeing as this was MIAMI, it was only fitting that Adriana De Moura be the one to strut.  (and strut she did, quite well for several of the designers!)
