Deliberately down-sized from last year, Stellar, The Third Annual The San Francisco Fashion Awards gathered an intimate crowd at Pigment Cosmetics for a quietly elegant ceremony that was both modest and completely appropriate for the fledgling fashion industry in the San Francisco Bay Area.

In addition to the actual awards that were given out to local designers, Dj's, event producers, models and bloggers, the event showcased two local designers B Spoke Tailor, whose whimsical steam-punk-meets-bike menswear-messenger collection was beyond charming, and Coral Castillo whose dramatic dresses and well tailored separates reminded us of why she won 'Best Overall Design' in 2009 at the Art Institute Student Fashion Show.
