This weekend’s seventh annual Fashion on the Square brought runway style to a packed house under the San Francisco Centre’s Westfield Dome.

Productions event included America’s Next Top Model star Bre (who proclaimed “I eat a lot. Models eat!”) and San Francisco Project Runway Season 7 designer Jay Nicolas Sario.  After an impressive run to the final four on Runway, Sario now works creatively with the Gap and is designing his Spring 2011 collection, which he plans to show in San Francisco.

Show standouts included impeccable coats and dresses by Daniel Sudar, designs for curvy women by Jill Alexander and luxurious eco-friendly styles by Prima Jiva.  Designs by Bellezza, Picky Studio, J. Jamison, G82 Designs, and R. Shay Miles rounded out a strong showing.

It was hard not to be charmed by the children’s portion of the event, where kids walked the runway like pros in designs from Gymboree and Apple Bottoms.

The afternoon closed with impressive menswear by tailor (and Reverend!) Randy Rowden, who was not shy on the runway and waved his coat like a toreador’s cape.
